I know a lot of you guys have gopros, but has anyone ever used a http://store.kodak.com/store/ekconsus/en_US/pd/PLAYSPORT_Video_Camera__Zx5/productID.221644700 - kodak playsport ?

I just got one as a late holiday gift at work, and I haven't turned it on yet, but the thing looks awesome...waterproof (10ft), shock resistant, 1080p, with some sort of fancy picture stabilizer...and its smaller than my cell phone. The only thing that kinda sucks is there's no helmet strap, just this http://store.kodak.com/store/ekconsus/en_US/pd/ThemeID.3925700/Essential_Action_Mount__Body_Strap/productID.231069400 - full-body abomination

Anybody have any experience with this? I can't wait to try it out.

Great little camera/video recorder - I have 3 kids and they have yet to tear it up at the beach, ball fields, and lake. Nice video as well it was alot of fun this past summer on the lake catching memories.

Used mine for 10 minutes before it got dropped in the lake (deep water, never to be seen again). Attach it to something that floats!

haha, that's gotta be step one...I actually have a miniature life jacket can coozie that I think its going to live in/tethered to. I took a couple videos at the bar last night in pretty dim light that came out pretty good. so far so good.

Love that camera. I've been through two of them, someone waled off with my first one.

We shot some underwater stuff after a show in Maui last year. Much cooler than underwater here in IA! Crazy thing was we picked up the Whales on the video but couldn't really hear it in person.

wow, that's pretty cool...I don't know if your boat rides really smooth or if the water's really nice, or if the stabilizer works really well on the camera, but I had no idea how fast you were going until I saw the speedos...can't wait to get mine out on the water!

Left was a little slow and of course once we cleaned it out the right clogged. Replaced with Stargazer since then.

I'll have to dig and see what I did with the Maui videos. I should really post them but that would require me to find my youtube password.

Kodak just declared bankruptcy. I doubt they will still be making these much longer.
