I have a prop destined for Australia but cannot seam to find a reasonable shipping carrier. I've gone overseas for around $40 in the past but I'm seeing numbers in the $60-$70 range now.
Any recommendations? |

When you find one will you let us know who you use. I am in Italy and parts are so much cheaper in the US than here, but shipping kills the deal.

I just tried their "Get Rate and Time Quote" feature and it gave me a time, but absolutely no rate estimate. 
We do daily shipping through USPS, FedEx and UPS from my office here. This shouldn't be so difficult ------------- |

HW, I used USPS if it fits it ships when I had to send a prop to a cross the pond buyer. Have a look at these guys,they shipped a windscreen over for me no broken glass was around 45Lb $145.00 which works out at around $3.22 per Lb Got it 5 days and if sent by normal post 3 weeks and $178.00

When shipping international its the size over weight,calc you need to look at but with a prop you're stuck so you pay more for the unused space/weight in the box.  and it looks cheaper to send it over to Europe than Australia.------------- Lets have a go 56 Starflite 77 SN 78 SN 80 BFN |

It's really looking like USPS Priority Mail is the best option to Australia at $70. They were suggested from Bill Weeks at Acme as well as a large boardshop. I have not gotten a $ figure from DHL yet however. ------------- |

Hollywood USPS rates must have gone up. I had a Acme 422 shipped to Australia from Georgetown KY 3 years ago for $52.40.
