(I searched this, and didn't find anything)
when I went to change my oil for winterization this year...it looked like there might have been water mixed in with my oil as I was draining the old oil.
I probably ran the boat for a solid 50 hours with that same oil in it before draining it for winterization.
my main question is this; if there was a crack in the block that led the water to get in there, wouldn't I have noticed something horribly wrong during those 50 hours?
FYI: the boat sat motionless on dry land for about a month before I drained the oil.

It could just be condensation from sitting, but they can go amazingly far with water in the oil before they blow up. I think you will have to investigate farther. Good luck.

Keep searching the old threads There is one that lists things to check in order before the block relating to water in oil. Head gaskets and manifolds two of many other possibilities.

I would be looking for some nice gold colored oil. Not the kind that is milky white.
Actually I would probably be praying not to find the milky white stuff.

It would be nice to run it for a while and get it good and hot to steam out any condensation that is in there. I guess you changed the oil?
If you have fresh oil in there and run it a while till it's hot and it shows up like a milkshake on the stick, then you probably do have water intrusion from somewhere.
