Does anyone have a picture of around an 85 model, the 2 piece deluxe style observers seat bases in the boat but without the cushions on? Of all the pictures I took of the boat I did not get one of this and I just want to verify that I am putting mine back in the same place before I cut the hole for the inspection plate.

I am going to put my cushions on the bases and put them in the boat to get it pretty close, but I would like to have a picture to be able to compare to. Just to double check and make sure I am good.

Kris

Well this is where mine was in reference to the battery. you can tell from the dirt where it was, also hand for reference. This is an 86 deluxe style seating, should be the same.

OK, so I pulled the frames and the seat out and sat them in the boat to make some marks on the floor of where the seat will be. From memory this looks about right to me. But is has been a few years since the interiot was in the boat so I thought I would post it up and let you guys take a look and give me the go, no go.

What do you think?

The 85 is truly unique in that the frames are plywood. I learned this the hard way...

I'd say you're good to go, since the bottom seam lines up with the top (which hasn't moved). Anyway, email http://www.correctcraftfan.com/diaries/details.asp?ID=2683&sort=&pagenum=1" rel="nofollow - Phil Olkoski if you're really worried about it, he rebuilt his entire 85 SN. He may have posted pictures of interest to you here on the site, I just don't remember.

Looks right to me. As you can see in my earlier pic it is pretty much centered on the left side of the battery box which will put it inside the seat frame.
When I redid mine I decided to center the port which made it easier to access blower hose connections and such. But then again I did not foam so everything in that area can be removed and replaced.
