Never heard of that stuff.

BG 44K is an effective fuel system cleaner and carbon remover. It is also hard to find. Look in specialty auto parts stores.

GM sells a solution called Top Engine Cleaner that does the same thing and it's very easy to come by. Just go to any GM dealership's parts department and ask for it. It comes in an aerosol can ready to use.

valvtect in an additive to add to your fuel to act as a lead replacement. gm top engine cleaner is like sea foam on roids. i wouldnt get the 2 confused. if you have a carbon issue the gm product is awsome but dont do it on the lake ,ie pollution, hookmup flushers and use it in your driveway.

I offered up the suggestion of using the GM top engine cleaner because I thought that's what this thread was about,...cleaning the valves. I was previously unfamiliar with the product "valvtect". Thanks for clearing that up southwind!
