Replacing the plugs on my 89' this evening with some auto lite 24s. My boat has electronic ignition on it already as well from the previous owner. Should I keep it with the .35 gap or open it up a tad? |

.035 gap works very well with my EI. EI is not the same as GM's HEI. The spark energy to the plug is the same on EI vs. points. It is the coil that boosts the spark power.
