I have a canvas boat cover (approx 4 yrs old) and despite being mostly undercover the canvas has acquired a few rainwater stains and other blemishes. How do you folks clean your canvas boat covers. Thank you.

There are cleaners/laundries that will do large items. I don't know if any in your country will do it. Should be some. If you find one, ask them if they will do a waterproof treatment after the laundering. It will need it. If not, you can do it yourself. It's a spray on treatment.

I've used the 303 Fabric cleaner on my cover and bimini while they are on the boat. There are directions on the bottle. If I remember correctly you just wet the cover and brush it on then let it sit and wipe it off. I used a microfiber car washing stick to reach it, a sponge mop would work too.   I have the same issues with the dust collecting on it at the dock and it pools just a little if the rain blows in. Worked really well and it was as difficult as I was expecting, much easier than hauling it to the laundry mat and loading a roll of quarters in the machine.

I take mine to the Spray off ( Pressue Wash) Car Wash. I hit it with water and it comes clean. However, it also takes off the water proofing ( Resistance). I then put it on top of my car with the cover upside down to clean the underneath side of the cover. This bottom side is also cleaned at the spray off car wash. I need some of that 30? Aeropspace stuff to spray on the cover to once again give it water protection.
