Hi, working on a 1961 compact skier with a gray marine 4 cyl. engine guy is having a hard time finding new valves & carb kit. any suggestions?

If he is having a hard time finding parts, then you have the wrong guy working on it. Sorry! Does he understand he's working on a Continental engine?

he is a good engine guy, for stock car engines anyway.... he found everything but the valves, so he says, any part # or reputable place to order the valves?

put that number in front of Dave, as well as another one I found for Lakeland auto & Marine. they claim to have the valves in stock.

Don't forget the pictures of the finished engine! Also, make sure he paints it the proper color!

what color do they call the engine color? right now it is a greenish-yellow.

The flatheads were always just a smoke gray for the regular engines. The Fireballs were painted red.
