Hey fellow CCF's. It has been awhile since I've gave up any updates, so I am starting a new thread from the start. I will try to keep more up to date, but I think we all know how well that goes.

Started removing the fiberglass floor and foam. I was hoping the for the best and expecting the worst. I think I ended up somewhere between. Some of the wood is rotted bad but the secondary stringers actually are not as bad as expected. Still have lots more to cut and clean. The demoliation is great threapy. It is very satisfing to see all the old crap hit the bottom of the trash can and finally get the water that is who knows how old, dried up. More to come soon.

Thanks for the update Singer. Keep the updates and pictures coming. I see the engine crated. Is it going out or coming back? That motor is an upgrade for that vintage boat, right?

Did that Pro Boss come with a 1.23 trans? Hopefully it did so that you can still turn a RH prop. You'll need a few new pieces to make it work, a shorter shaft and a steeper prop are the 2 that come to mind (Joe would be able to complete that list).

Thank you all for the wealth of knowledge I will need to complete this project! I received the motor and trans from a guy in Idaho, so it should be ready to drop in, "In Theory". I believe the trans is a 1.23. I will have to double check for sure. It has been several months since I have reopened the crate. Thanks for the heads up on the pieces TRBenj. I hope Joe does chime in to give me some pointers.
