That is Independence as in individualism, Individual freedoms, self reliance, and limited government. A great day to go back and read and teach your kids about the founding documents (after a parade, a picnic, a few beers, and a good long boat ride.
Enjoy the day. For those that think of Minnesota as a frozen tundra it is supposed to hit 101 degrees with 70 percent humidity in Minneapolis today. Summer in Minnesota, the best day of the year!
