Im looking for an original ford 351 oil pan.
I own a Ski Nautique 176 and the oil pan rusted and leaked, PCM told me to replace it with this Oil Pan—R005004A, but Im not sure if its going to fit because the original one is almost touching the bottom of the boat (bilge).
Im from Mexico, and I dont want to ship a wrong part all the way down here.
If anyone has an original 351 oil pan I would appreciate it a lot.
Thanks for all the help
The engine is a Pro Boss GT 40 EFI

Just got my boat back in the water, seem like there was just a small part rusted and the mechanics got to solder a new piece on the same part. I just have questins on the alingment, if they took the engine including the engine supports, thoes the alingment change?

Juan, there are others here that will disagree with me,but in some PCM manuals tell you to check your alignment every time you launch. That is way extreem but thats when you get lawyers involved. In your case the engine was removed. When did you align it last? You should at least check it. Here is the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_w0LvD6gEc" rel="nofollow - video link

The question I have about that vid, is that if I need to loose the 4 bolts to check alignment or they need to be all 4 bolted on? How hard is it to move the prop when its connected to the transmission, with out being conected it moved easily, connected to the transmission I need both hands to move the prop. Thanks for the help
PD I took the engine with out touching the supports, I took it out by removing the 2 screws from each support connecting it to the boat...
