Guys...Thanks to Greg we sorted out a lot of demons on the 86 SN 2001. He noticed the transmission cooler had a broken weld on it. It may or may not make it through the rest of the summer, but I would rather go ahead and replace it now. So..question of the hour is what is the part number. I believe the transmission is the 1:1 ratio unit, but Im still a newbie and dont know for sure.
Thanks
Philip

Philip, Don't worry about a part #. Go by the length and the size of the water inlets and outlets.
I'm gald to hear that Greg helped out. I never had any doubts!

Did you try to rebraze it?

That could be done; it does have a nice drain cock on it, but I think I'd replace it.
Philip, has anyone mentioned 'my correct craft parts.com' to you? That's Billy-the BoatDr. I called last night. You won't need a part # with him as long as you know the engine; and you do.
Howdy Karen!

BTW, they are not hard brazed but rather soft soldered.
