Did you see Chrystlers Olympic commercials? " Imported from Detroit" The slogan just reminded me how much of an American car is foreign parts. All the engineering, design, and advertising certainly came from Detroit. Although people forget that assembly line workers do not just dream up and piece cars together, there actually are well paid, educated people that can also loose their jobs if too many of you keep buying foreign. I am not saying that assembly workers are worthless, or uneducated. Just saying there are others at stake as well and the "others" out way the assembly workers something like 8 - 1.
