Ben,
I have a reverse rotation cam just taken out of a 302 ford that was running in a 78 Ski Tique. The boat ran at 47 MPH GPS, right before the tear down July 2012, and was a very solid performing motor. I had a local machine shop (Dave Hunt's) in Schenectady, NY rebuild the motor with new everything to boost the HP to ~290. The cam (and motor)was performing fine before it was taken out, and the cam is in condition to reinstall. I don't know anything about its grind, or hours, but the motor had even compression and it ran very respectfully for a 302. I'd sell it for $50 plus shipping, but can't guarantee anything at that price, except about 4 or 5 members on this website skied behind the Tique with that motor and cam. So, It has references. Obviously going for a new cam with someone like Cam Research is the other option, however that was, I think $250 to $300 with lifters.

Dang it I had already bought one but I can return it. The lift on the one that is being shipped to me is a bit under .280 intake and a bit over .280 exhaust. How does that compare to yours? I can return this one if your cam is a better performance option. Thanks!

I don't know the details on my RR 302 cam that is for sale, since it was recently removed from the motor that was in the boat when I bought it. I don't know much about that motor, although it ran the boat to 47 mph, and now is in the junk pile after discovering a PO weld repair and several cracks that would eventually grow.
FYI, my newly rebuilt 302 was bored 30 over, upped the CR to 10 to 1, GT40-P heads, hypereutectic pistons, balanced, Weiand Stealth intake mani, 600 CFM Holly, Cam Research cam with .460 lift and 266 deg intake duration and 276 deg on the exhaust. Dynoed the RR engine and with a few different trial props GPS'd 56.4 mph with 3 on-board. See the video on the Reunion tab for the CT Mini-Reunion. Scarry Fast!!
Stick with the new cam, but you may need more go-fast parts in addition to the cam.

Those videos are pretty impressive. was the thing nearly hopping out of the water? I have the new cam in but have to get some new gaskets and stuff to finish it up. BTW, the old cam and lifters looked like they were barely used. Im new to this but i have to think it is very low hours. I still need to find a smaller double groove water pump pulley and a 1 and 1/8 inch OD, 5/8 ID chunk of rubber hose (maybe and inch long) to slip onto one of the rear motor mounts.

Ben, The boat with two passengers in the back seat is scary fast and is not the most serene ride. When wide open and crossing any wakes, the Tique took a couple of hops, and a skip, where it sure felt like it came completely out of the water. I don't have a 6" exactly diameter upper pulley, as mine are original and measure at 6-3/8" OD.

That sounds like a thrill.
I should say about the water pump pulley that I have one 6.5" double groove pulley and a 6" single groove. The crank pulley is 6.375". I think a 6.375" water pump pulley would work because the 6.5" is just a hair too big and causes interference.
