This probably mostly an Eric question. Any input is welcome however. I've got a guy looking to replace his p31v with my p21 transmission. What's the difference between the two. I believe the v stands for v drive. If his V-drive is good will the p21 bolt up two it and be an adequate replacement if it is the proper ratio and indexed for the correct direction of his engine?

Scott, How did you end up with a Paragon trans in your boat? It's very odd! A repower?

It came with the engine I used to repower with. The 318 came out of a Chris Craft cabin cruiser. The southwind we have came with a seized 360 and a good velvet drive.
