Does anyone have a source for the #10 x 2" T-bolts that fasten the windshield on a late '70's Tique. Have 6, but need 4 more and a potential need for more as the originals are CC and rust out. They are SS and T shaped and slide into the aluminum channel. Also, any helpful hints on replacing?? Thanks, Todd

Gary, Thanks for the tip!! But Tim is 100 Mi away and has a few boats ahead of mine. Tim sold me this boat (and I sold him the Inca Gold '71 Skier) but I should have checked the warrantee language closer!! I broke the windshield bolts as well as two of my brother-in-laws's ribs, when the 78 Tique snap-turned at the CT-Mini- reunion. Lots of fun there. Check out the Reunion Site. Tim gave me 6 bolts, but I am still short four, plus any other future boat repairs. I really enjoyed your resurrection of your Mustang and pictures, because I have one of the same color Mustangs hanging in my shop awaiting new stringers. The motor is ready and rebuilt the same build as what is in the Tique. Reid has one of the same color (as of last November so there could be 3), and I might ask, what was that advertised color by CC back in '68? Meridian Blue?? The Tique is Scarry fast, with the help of Reid and Tim Morfoot. Anyway, Thanks for chiming in and for the inspiration in rebuilding '68 Mustang.
PS, I'm sure the CT Mini Reunion will return in 2013 as better than last year. Hope to meet you there. Todd

Between the Benjamin's and the Hart's are there any boats left out that way? I did keep an eye your event and had read about your mishap. An eastern trip is on the bucket list. You are correct on the color,my deck is Taffy Ivory.Seems most blue ones have that deck color and blue seemed like a popular color. Post some pictures of your Mustang sometime,I'd like to see them! Be careful of that Morfoot,he gets you to do things you normally wouldn't,with Reid you expect it,so you can be on "guard". All Tim said to me was "your control works kind of hard" One more thing Todd,hi performance vehicles and ones transfered between relatives have no warrantees

The ones I got were from ebay as well. Worked great on the BFN. The seller will accept an offer in the 50% range of his asking price, if I recall correctly!

There is a Company that still makes the windsheild "T-Bolts". However, they are "Steel" (identical to oem) and not "Stainless Steel". This company is located in the State of California.
