For those of you on the chain who are interested, I got this from DNR today regarding the comment period being extended.
As a subscriber to the DNR email subscription service for the Rest Lake Dam Project, you are receiving notification that new information has been posted.
REST LAKE DAM UPDATE - Extension to the Public Comment Period:
Several requests have been made for more time to review and comment on the Environmental Assessment (EA) for a new operating order for the Rest Lake Dam. Substantive comments on the clarity, accuracy, and scope of the analysis are important to us. Therefore, the DNR has formally extended the public comment period on the EA until December 31, 2012.
The EA will remain available for review on the Rest Lake Dam website at:
