Probably not me. The wind has been screaming out of the North for three weeks now and doesn't show any indication of letting up.
Happy Thanksgiving to all. Think Ill just watch some football and take a nap.

Nice! I guess i should get out since you guys still can. Not going to make the usual Black Friday runs, our usual guests reschedualed the holidays this year and won't be here until Christmas, but i'll get a run before the weekends over.

South of the Mason Dixon doesn’t qualify as cold.
You should have a heater for your poor little spotter.

The water temperature was a way less than the air yesterday (air was 60), once up no problem, but getting up with hands falling asleep, not so easy. Gloves are on my Christmas list.

Excellent enthusiasm Wayne. I hung it up a couple weeks ago on a nice 74 degree (water 58) day. Looking forward to getting together again next spring. I want to try out that new ski of yours. This time bring the family along.

You're a better man than I am Wayne...CPhase called and asked me if I wanted to hook up on Fri as it was almost 70 but we didn't go because it was too windy here in GA. I woulda thunked it but probably not done it.

Going for it.

Never going to zip, so why not just blow the neck out upon removal right?

The Friday skiing was way worse. 30 Air and 30 mph winds. I'm waiting on some pics for this. I did not ski Saturday, but did get out again yesterday. 45 Air and far less wind, gelt like a summer day compared to Friday...

Our lake (Badin) is down roughly 5' with an additional 6' to 7' to go. So with the windy conditions I opted to move things around in the garage and put the boats inside until the lake level rises.

Hollywood, I want that Drysuit, that's the best liking thing I've evrer seen, feet and a blue neoprene neck seal. Dipped the boat tonight to bring it to the house for Christmas Parade prep, water was 62. I'm going to try to get the shower in by the parade so I can get one last wetsuit run in.

I must be a wimp. That water sure felt cold to me. My wife is betting I will try every holiday this year, I am not so certain.

Larry, I will definitely plan another drive to Southern Pines in the Spring. I would love to have you stop by our place; maybe during the summer months when the days are long, you could swing a little east on before you turn south on the way home from work.

Tim, you ought to have a few more nice days down there before it gets cold for a couple of months.

Larry, you neglected to mention my other "special friend", Hollywood!!

My neighbor took these on thanksgiving, pretty grainy but the sound of HW's 88' is clear.

sumpin's missin. I don't think the [TUBE] BB code works any more (at least thats been my experience. You have to link Youtubes the old fashioned way. (I want to hear HWs boat)

Larry, I think the Tube BB code will still work, but you have to use the link that Youtube serves you when you click on "Share"

Quinner's videos appear to be in photobucket though, so moot point I guess.

Thanks for that heads up Brian. You are right, you can't copy the URL and use the BB code, I thought that's the way I used to do it, maybe not. How do you know they are p-buckets? You seeing more than I?

You're right, you used to be able to just use the regular youtube url, I think it got more temperamental at some point.

I had quoted Quinner's post to see his url, but then canceled my post.

Looks fixed above, I can't see flash at work though

Bill, I wore it once on a cold day in October. I don't think we had a camera going, we were all skiing and it was getting dark. My friends from another boat might have something. I know the rule, gotta prove it...

Not so sure about the multiple post thing but I am sure our computer 'skill' runs in the family!

HW..throw the suit in the trunk in December...just wish I had mine home from TN. Not so sure that I would fit in it tho.

Some Iowa winter skiing pics taken December 1st. Not sure of air and water temps, but a hot tub sitting 20 yards from the shore sure helps! We're hoping to continue to ski on warm days as long as the wind stays down.

My ski buddy Kevin was insistent on sitting between passes so the lake could settle. He's an accomplished tournament skier and an MC promo guy. I was happy with being on the lake.....he went out and ran passes at 22 and 28 off at 36mph after a "warm up pass" at 34mph.

Chris, Looks like the water temp is a little low on the gauge ;). Maybe its because the water temp is low in the lake! haha.

Got some glass it looks like though!
