Electric solenoids for rear hatches? Mine have been removed, does anyone have a part number or know anything about these things? Thanks mike

Hi mike, I can't post a lInk right now but if you search for "hatch relay" in the last 6 months, you should come up with a coiple of threads. I know that Minick was having trouble with his a couple of months ago and I believe that there were pictures and model numbers in that thread

That's on my list for this winter, I don't remember where the thread is, but the end result was that replacement is better than repair. I believe some of the west coast marine stores had the best deals, teat hey use the same type of lifts on the offshore boats. The few I can think of off of the top of my head are CP Perfomance, Rex Marine, and Teauge Custom Marine. I think they run about $325 and it was pretty much just a plug and play job.

When I did the search is brought up hatch actuators, I am actually looking for a solenoid release that pops the latch and then allows the hydraulic lifts to open the three hatches.

I've heard of those, but haven't seen that discussed around here. Search over on PN for Grant West, I think he did something with one of those a long time ago.
