DavidG was in town we had a nice visit. We had to photo document the buffet we found. Must have been 1500 sg ft of food area and all of it awesome.
Thanks Dave, it is always nice to hang with you.

Hey..... Neither one of you are leaning to the right as far as I might have thought.
Dave, you are a flooring guy. Who else describes food in term of square footage.
Glad you guys had a good time.

It is very cool. I had three visitors this past/my first summer here in NC, Marty and his wife, Reid and Wayne. Am looking forward to many more visitors next summer. The welcome mat is always out for CCFs.
As preparations were being made before Reid's event in October, Wayne and I were having a conversation. He had not yet been to a CC event. I told him they are great. There is no having to get acquainted with people, everyone is like an old friend.

As long as everything stays on schedule...my Barracuda will be back up and running next summer. I usually run the boat down at Lake Wylie...hope to visit with some of you next year. Reid has hooked me up with replacement manifolds and I should be in good shape after the stringers are done.

You and Val are certainly welcome any time, and as much as I would like to put a few hours on your BFN, you will have to settle for my Tique for the day. I'm afraid "out-of-neighborhood" boats aren't allowed. It's a good thing in that it cuts down (but far from eliminates) Yahoo traffic (we have plenty of our own Yahoos) but its a bad thing in that I would really like CCFs to be able to bring their boats by.

I was thinking about a mini reunion at my place on our lake; we are not supposed to have outside boats on our lake either, but a small enough number would probably not be noticed or least not commented on...we do not have anyone patrolling our lake to ensure compliance.

Winter in Minnesota is not for the faint of heart, weak in spirit, or the fashion conscious.

I think the employee who took the photo leaned way left and since he was facing us it countered the lean.

What's the matter with Turtle necks??? Everyone gives me crap about them but I never though they were out of "fashion". Keep in mind, us older guys do get cold!! That new job I have has only two 400,000 btu heaters in it for almost 200,000 Sq. ft of building!!
BTW, I now have my own personal go*f carts to get around in!!! They went out and purchased 3 used (two year old carts). Man, it sure saves time plus the load on my old legs!!

Officially, they were never in "fashion"....
They should have saved money - I understand from those TV ads I see all the time that seniors can get Hover-rounds for free on Medicare! LOL (Uh, please don't let this start a political thread!)
Seriously....that buffet is IMPRESSIVE!

Well, confidentially, Dave and I considered whether its time to start Leaning "Forward" ever since the election. Then we came to our senses and determined its time to lean right even more now

Keep going to those 1500sqft "hog troughs" and you'll be leaning forward soon enough.

Wait a minute.... There is a picture here somewhere of a guy wearing a button up shirt, wading amoungst ski boats. I think it was even long sleeve but cannot recall if there was a pocket protector or not.
