An associate of mine is looking for a house to rent June 22-29. It is for their family vacation, grandpa down to the grandkids needs to sleep 10 adults and 6 kids. Half are coming from Chicago, other half from northern Georgia, so that's why they have their sites on Kentucky. LOTS of swimming around, maybe a marina with a boat to rent. So I guess a little shoreline would be nice for the younger kids instead of a drop off and floating only.

Throw up any suggestions I'm not too familiar with this area. Thanks.

Hollywood if their they are not dead set on Ky Lake, I would suggest Dale Hollow. Eagle Cove Resort has just what you asked for.

Check out their website eaglecoveresort.net. Have rented houseboats as well as Chalets and Cabins from them, never been disappointed.

My brother used to live by Moors resort on KY lake. It has been several years since I was over there, but I have to agree with Tom. Can't beat Dale Hollow. In case they just want to go to KY lake, here is the link to Moors resort.

You're just trying to stop the Ohio Navy at the border!

Dale Hollow is awesome. They won't be disappointed. It's Army Corps though, so not a lot of rentals. Most of what you'll find are rental cabins owned by the marina's. Tons of houseboat rentals as well.
