Needing timing gear set for small block chevy. Needing the crank gear and cam gear. The type that is two piece and doesn't include a chain .

Yeah Im gona sneek somthing together over time, part here part there kinda thing. The flee bay gears seem scary cheap.

BTW, I have a complete RH 283 ready to put together. Everything is fresh. ...heads, block, new pistons, etc ... (dang project change LOL)

Being that I will never build a right hand chevy the old school way, I have a gear set you can have, pick up the bus ride it is yours!

Thanks on the 283, think Ill be going after more cid than that. More like 350 to 400 or so.

Whats wrong with your old timing set? We reused the gear/gear RR set on our 454 as it showed next to no wear.

I want to build a complete second motor, a turn key drop in. The motor thats going in after my stringer job will be a spare motor for next season.

This is a real deal Stamped GM set from the 60's it will need to be bead blasted as it has some surface rust on it.
