Hey, this is for all you who know more about carbs then me, which is probably all of you.
I have a 1968 318 Chrysler. I put an electronic ignition in this summer and it worked great--started easy, ran great.
This winter I've kept the boat in the garage and have been dropping it in the water about once a month and running it for 15 or 20 minutes. However, it does not start right up. If I come back to the boat in a couple of hours, or even the next day it will start the first time I crank it. Any ideas for me to check out.
Thanks, as always

I wouldn't get excited about it right now. With the colder weather and sitting for long periods of time it's losing it's prime on the fuel pump or carb. Since it starts right back-up after it's been started and ran for a little bit I don't see an issue. Any engine that sits for a long periods of time is going to be hard to start the first time out after sitting.
