I would assume he has the deck. Don't know the price.

That is my kind of boat too HW. I dont think I can give up the 2001 hull though becuase of how well it kneeboards and wakeboards for my brother and friends.

All white gets me going though. Just like that 86 Mr. Mars and I colaborated on.

Yep, for sure. Looks like the owner got creative and added a back seat. pretty sure that was not an option on those boats. Pop the hood and note the RH engine + 1:1 tranny. Kind of strange driving that era boat without the characteristic tranny whine.

Here is the seat. Looks like factory quality. Someone must be good. I am in love with that boat.....

Would anyone be mad at me if I sold my 86 :/.

Trailer from the parts boat for the standard and send your 86 this way. Email a ski buddy the pics so we'll see what he says.

That's why I'm reluctant to move away from a 2001. Perfect wake for my brothers kneeboarding follies. Maybe I'll buy fat sacs and turn that one into a toy. Bent shaft dirty oil dirty trans fluid. Clock hours do not correlate with the 1000 hour marking on the oil filter. Still a very solid starting point.

Hey Zach - What do you mean by 1000 hour marking on oil filter?

Sick boat... I'd ask your mechanic ( or go back yourself) to do a compression check and give it a once over. Buy it.   Brother can buy your 2001?

Not sure about a 1000 hr mark on filter though...

The filter is marked 10xx hours and a date of oil change that was two years ago. Maybe a hour meter change? No clue.

That's a lot of white, and an interesting interior layout. There would be a lot of motor noise with that uninsulated doghouse. Not that that's a bad thing...

The seat attach bracket is stock, it looks just like the one in my '93 Ski. Definitely a unique boat. Stripped like that it would likely have been used as a hard-core slalom boat. You'd have to do a lot to weigh it down for wakeboarding.

I will let the guy set on it for a bit J Bear. He was kinda reluctant when I told him the price of a shaft. Just wish it was on a ramlin :( or even an Eagle.

could be a new hour meter gauge? I don't recall CC using Faria gauges back then, did they?

Nope... '93 was still VDO. They didn't use Faria until '03.

Tim's spot on.....so perhaps the last oil change was at the 1000 hrs on the old hour meter...That's exciting!

The only thing I can order for replacement VDO boats these days is Faria. We can still get the teleflex white face black bezel gauges like in my dad's new 98.

The guy bought it from a friend who needed money. I think he thinks its a true 500 hour boat. The condition of the boat would be believeable for a 500 hour Florida boat but the motor tells the tale. Lots of paint coming off/rust. Nothing a good cleaning and repaint couldnt fix but I'm betting the thing has closer to 1500 hours on it. Would still like to own it. Could freshen it up. All the fluids were nasty.

I love this color scheme, absolutely killer looks on this boat. I'd buy it if I didn't have 2 boats already. What a beauty.

I'll build my own if that were the case Brett ;).

Too bad nobody maranizes the 390 Hp Hemi in my truck. The low end torque with the VVT would make a ski boat a boss.
