Hey Doug These guy's are alright. They for the most part do not have these newer boats. This site is a great resource for the 90's and back Correct Crafts. Try Planet Nautique for your parts add on the newer stuff.

And to The site members I know Doug personally he has done a number of E-control Retro fits on the pre 2006 Nautiques to accommodate the Zero Off systems. These Gateway's are pull off's from these retrofits. If Doug say's they work then they work!!

Pete's Ok, his knowledge base is amazing before most of us were born, after that......Zero off to him means the stripper is still dressed!!

Good Luck with your sale, if Jody say's it good....It's all Good!!

Hey Doug,
With you attitude, I don't feel an apology is warranted. Yes, as Jody mentioned, you are on the wrong site. In general members here including myself do have older boats. BTW, I am a Correct Craft owner and the oldest one has a mechanical tach. Have you even seen one of them? Research before you cut us down.

Easy there Petey, loosen that turtleneck, lol. There are many of us with post 90's boats as Jody mentioned, even post 00' or 10's, this is the CORRECT site for anything CC/Nautique, new or old.

Actually had to replace the Gateway on the 206 once, luckily while still under warranty.

I disagree - Pete in person your a nice guy and I consider you a friend - but online you come off as all attitude all the time as of late. In this case you jumped the gun on this and flagged something you knew nothing about that could certainly help many of the regular members on this site.

Even when your right you often come off as a know it all looking to belittle or criticise anyone that didnt happen to be born knowing everything about a reverse rotation motor marinization package from a minor engine manufacturer.

If you don't want to answer a question that you have answered a million times before, then dont answer it. The constant little jabs that would be considered as good natured ribbing with a friend comes off horrible on the internets. I can tell you for a fact that it is scaring off more people from this website than you are helping at this point. Yeah maybe they could have a thicker skin, but the reality is they probably just have a life and don't need to deal with someone else busting thier balls from the other side of a keyboard.

There’s a lot of guys nicer than me that have just stopped posting any sort of information on this site- and have specifically told me its due this type of crap – and I am tired of hearing it.

Doug,
Thanks for understanding and I understand where you are coming from. I admit I too got out of hand but when you questioned my CC ownership, the hair stood up on the back of my neck! I'm sorry for that. Just for background info, my experience with CC started way back (yes, before the days of gateways) in my early years and then working at a CC dealership in the late 60's and early 70's. Ownership started with a 70 Cuda, then my 54 Atom and finally my 70 Tique.

Jody never said he was on the "wrong" site, simply mentioned there might be a better one.

I think you really do owe Doug a sincere apology. Remember this post from the lake/boat house thread?

Please do your research before making comments and or questions. You PM'd me once on how "critical" I was is answering you posts. My answers may have sounded "critical" to you but they were in response to what I feel were your questions being from a very uninformed person. As mentioned, do your research first!!! Stop the STUPID comments and questions!!! Sorry, but you are doing it to yourself!!!

SEARCH, READ and ABSORB!!!!!
