2 days into spring and the UK is once again in chaos through snow and floods http://uk.weather.com/story/news/032113_uk_outlook_record_cold" rel="nofollow - http://uk.weather.com/story/news/032113_uk_outlook_record_cold
This was the image out my window this morning, its still snowing with the worst still to come. On this day last year we had 21C and today its about 2C.
I am really starting to get the jitters and need to get back onto the water soon. Boat testing in prep for getting back onto the lake starts in 2 weeks, at this rate it wont even be de-winterized.

Same here in Belgium. Snow has finally melted, but they predict new snowfall on sunday. And it will continue to freeze at night throughout the whole next week. Day temps not more than 7°C...
I'm sooooo very sick of winter! Normally we planned to summerize the boat this weekend... Gonna have to postpone that plan

Yeah we got more snow as well. I decided to take advantage of it. Took today off and going snowmobiling in a couple hours. Anyone out there know of a good pizza place/sub shop in or around Linclon, NH?

Single digit lows here all week. 1.5 feet of snow in the yard and 3 foot piles by the street. The coldest part of January was in March this year. Only one day that broke 40 so far. I am looking for light at the end of the tunnel, but all I see is oncoming snowplow head lights.

90 here! I've had the boat out for a few weeks now. Sorry to hear about your weather. At least you have snow more than once every 20 years.

Wierd weather everywhere this year. Atlanta has gone up and down from 70's to 30's last few weeks, trees are budding, pollen falling, yet 30 right now in ATL and some sleet in GA last night.
Right when you think it's time to go fire it up the weather turns again..

I don't think it will ever stop :(. The drive last night was a little bad. Mostly for people who can't drive in snow. Probably 15 cars off and one crash in a 30 mile stretch of interstate last night. I had no problems in my 2wd truck traveling 5-10 MPH faster than the traffic flow. I would rather pass people and not be behind or beside them when they decide it's time to slide off the highway. Me and the white truck infront of me were moving at the same speed but cautious of other drivers and brake lights ahead.

Sounds just like me when I tried to learn how to water ski. 14ft outboard 40hp Johnson. Me 14yrs old 5 4' 190lbs ish. Took forever to get up but after I did a week later I was dropping a ski. We did get three skiers up behind that boat. I was the one who had to climb over the windshield and lay down on the bow to get it to plane out. There is a picture of it somewhere and no I'm not looking for it

Oh yeah. Only if the lake is in flood stage is it an issue. Bring the mustang up. I'm there every weekend and any week day possible. They installed a killer state ramp in lower mousam with tons of parking.

The UK has warmed up a bit and spring is now officially here, air temperature is between 50-60F, water temps are still pretty low so the dry suit or 5mm steamer is required but the boat is out of storage and has dipped its back end into the water :) My first set of the year will happen this weekend, wish me luck!

The weirdness just keeps going. Today we had high winds on Mille Lacs (2 hours north of the twin cities) Blowing sheets of ice (yes, still not ice out up north) far enough onto shore to knock cabin foundations, Tuesday predicted highs in the mid 90's.

I'm getting kinda depressed from this sh**ty weather over here Since pring has started here, we have had rain like ALL the time and temps aren't too warm either We've had maybe five days of sun since mid april... The boat hasn't come out of the marina more than five times. Only had to go fill up the LPG tank once and the hull is really disgusting with all the algea on it... Pffff
We are still training in the swimming pool with our ski team. If this weather continues, we will have a serious lack of training behind the boat. Doesn't look too good with all the shows planned for the summer
