Hi All,
When winterizing my 1996 Nautique with EFI this past year I must have blown a fuse, celinoid or ignition component?
Our boat has a heater and shower. I was flushing out the engine, shower( that we have never used) and the heater was on. I turned off the boat and was getting ready to run antifreeze through all the components. When I turned off the boat I left the shower and heater running. Once I had the antifreeze ready I went to start the boat and it does not attempt to turn over. all the accessories still turn on ( lights, horn, guages work when I turn the key) but the starter will not turn over.
If I turn the key to on position I can jump start the boat by using a screw driver and touching the two nuts on the back celinoid thing. (I know that is bad to do but I had to run antifreeze through the block and put the boat away that day)
The battery was fully charged and I connected a starter charger to it.
Anyone have any ideas what I broke so I can get the boat in the water early this year for the kids?

Celinoid or solenoid? I'd get the VOM (volt ohm meter) out and trace the coil hot lead back from the starter relay (solenoid). Somethings not powering it up??

Cylendar or cylinder? Dave, you sure need spell check on your computer!! Don't worry, I do too!! BTW, that cracked tube is a common problem. Skidim has the kit for the fix.

OK thanks I will try that.
I know my spelling is horible. It is even more difficult to spell words for things that I don't know what they are or do!
I'll try the spell check thingy next time
Thanks again for the feedback.
Dave
