How much do they typically charge per mile?

Our bill was around $900. Got lucky, the transport service (Arensdorf Transport) had an empty truck in California and was driving back to IA the same week we wanted it shipped. So, they were able to offer us pretty low. Also come to find out the owner of this place is a family cousin. Small world!
1,994 miles for $900 towed on the boats trailer. (no flatbed or anything)

With UShip, patience is the key, I have used them a couple of times (always with GREAT results) the quotes start out high, and get better and better.

THIS. Our bidding started at like 1900.00. Be patient before you accept anything...if you do decide to use Uship!

Boat shipping is always a go trough thread in a boat forum. Well Mostly i https://citizenshipper.com/boat-transportation/massachusetts" rel="nofollow - Transport My boat from massachusetts (my state) to another town/state using Citizenshipper Marketplace.
There are few things to note down for anyone looking to ship its boat.
The first important key to getting an accurate estimate is to know the actual size of the boat to be transported. The more accurate the measurements, the more accurate the boat shipping estimate.

If you’re not in a super-rush, reach out to Faceplant. He’s hauled a boat for me from Monroe, NY to our home in the Chicago area. He’s super meticulous, careful and most of all he’s one of us.
