thinking about upgrading the exhaust in my 78 ski nautique since im replacing the floor. whats a good sounding exhaust to run?

Kidding aside, this subject is about like asking for oil advice - there are many opinions. How loud do your rear seat passengers want it?

Just the floor? Have you opened it up yet and taken a good look at the stringers? Make sure you post some pictures.

Regarding the exhaust, you will find a few threads on just replacing the mufflers with SS tubing. Copper even sounds better but it's damn expensive.
