I am working on redoing my 1986 Barefoot, and I am in need of the box that the 2 blower hoses connect to.Mine have broken off and just kind of hanging there. If anyone knows where i can find one please let me know Bob Bridges ------------- BENJIRA 1986 Barefoot Nautique |

If it's the box that NY mentioned above, he is most probably correct. The box that the 3" air hoses connect to in order to route the air to the transom vent, right? The quick way to make one is to whip up a quick internal mold out of cardboard, spray it with wax or mold release, then lay up the glass on it, then after the resin hardens, throw it in a bucket of water until the cardboard all softens and falls away from the glass. ------------- "Art" |

Robert: Notice the lip, they don't screw in.... they drop in from the top of the deck and the louvered vent cover holds them down..... at least that was the setup on my 78 and 79..... There also are "barbs" (plastic hose fittings) that connect the blower hose to the holes in the collection box. It is thin plastic, the screws can be placed anywhere needed..............
