Had to double check, thought I was on facebook there for a second. That unnecessary remark being made, I have to concur. Nothing used to say summer like heading up to the Kayuta Drive-in for a couple hot dogs with sauerkraut after the morning ski runs when I was a teen.  Blackies in Cheshire, Connecticut was my Favorite as a kid, was founded (and still owned) by my Mom's Family who were just off the boat from Ireland. My Aunt Nel was running it then, she would dig it when me and my brothers would pound down 6+ dogs each, everything was free, even the old bowling game, which added even more to the thrill.
