I just acquired a '67 Barracuda that I am already guilt-ridden over the onset of waterline green on the blue hull. I boat on brackish water, obviously, and diligently flush the engine and wipe down interior and hose/wipe exterior after each outing. Boat sleeps on a lift, but still the stain. Any suggestions on an effective cleaner and/or process? That is, besides, ineffective elbow grease? Apologies if I have missed a previous post on this or posted in wrong place as I am a rookie here. Many thanks.

FSR Fiberglas Stain Remover, or Y10 ( personally think FSR better) Apply, let sit ( have a coffee) wash off, wax. It takes the coffeee colored stain left after cleaning off. It is some sort of acid based product so beware, Naval Jelly also works FSR available through West Marine and other boat supply stores.

Thanks, and I like the appealing "have a coffee" instruction. I am hoping this is the least of my issues but get the feeling I just acquired an unknown relative who just moved into the house.
