Hi Gents.

I had a thread strip out that binds the two halves of the rwp together, I sent it to a buddy to tap it to a bigger size, and since he returned it, it leaks horribly.

However, I think it's missing a gasket. I have the O ring and the brass end plate that goes between the two halves. But isn't there another gasket that goes between there too? The newer pumps say there is: http://www.sherwoodpumps.com/FileAttachments/Marine-Distribution/en-us//Literature/MPG_3047_09959_TECH.pdf" rel="nofollow - sherwood pump for pcm 302 and 351

Two questions assuming I'm missing a gasket:
1. Can I order just that part somewhere?
2. If I try to make one (to get me through the weekend), does anyone know what material that gasket is made out of?

Thanks!
p.s. still no mullet

ya. I don't know why I posted without looking at skidim, but that's exactly what I needed...

I went to a story and bought material and made my own gasket.

Thanks.
