Can anyone please advise how to separate the fuel lines (Item 36 RA085090A & Item 37 RA085091A) from the fuel rail after removing the ReTAiner Clips (Item 35 R127100)
Got the clips off but could not separate the lines and I did not want to damage anything by being heavy handed. Is there a particular knack to getting the hoses off.
Appreciate any advice folks, thanks.

Do you have any pics? Also, wondering what you're trying to do? I do know on the automotive side there are some special tools required to separate certain types of fuel lines. Ahh, I just saw your fuel filter post. I know the gt-40s have a Schrader valve for reading fuel pressure. I believe pushing on this will bleed air out? Do you maybe have the same? I think disconnecting the lines downstream of the fcc could be a little dangerous.

I was planning to disconnect the flexible fuel line between the FCC unit and the fuel rail so that I could bleed the line of any air that I may have caused while replacing the in-line fuel filter cannister which is up near the fuel tank.
When I was replacing the fuel filter cannister I did not clamps the hoses either side of the filter as I suspect I should have and I'm sure I alloed a whole lot of air than I needed into the line.
Understand your comment about the safety side of it so I was planning to bleed the line thru a safe clear container container and vent it to prevent any fumes etc.
