Im a proud new owner of a 86 ski nautique, just wanted to say thanks to everyone of you. im farily new to these kind of boats{and love every inch of it} and learned in two weeks reviewing other post on topics i have had questions about than i would have in a lifetime. now that being said could anyone help me {again} by telling me if the hummingbird 600 would fit in my clock gauge. without any drilling. thanks mark

Floppy, Congrats....you'll fall in love with it.

The diameter is the same so yes. However, we moved the hour meter over to the clock location and installed the HDR600 in the HM spot...basically b/c it was easier to work with (the HDR is deep and that corner spot is shallow).

I didn't even think about it....ours is an 88 so its a different dash and the clock was way in the corner at an angle. You can probably put it in any spot you want in your dash since its nice and flat.

I wanna say the HDR600 is like 3" deep or so. I can't remember for sure though....it was back in June.

I have an 87 which has a similar dash. I didn't move my clock or hour meter. Instead I mounted it right between the 2 speedos, there's just enough room and it's the perfect place. If your watching your speed you'll see the depth.
