I am in the middle of replacing floor and some stringer repair. The glass is only about an 1/4 thick. I just used a cut off wheel and made some cuts then ripped out the glass. The secondary stringer is about 6 inches in from the side of the boat. In my 86 there was only wood from in front of the motor to just under the bow. About 3 feet of wood the rest of the floor down the sides is just glass over foam. And of course the middle section in back of the motor is wood. I am going to take some pics of my boat and I will try and upload them. But I suck on computers so it may take awhile.

To post photos easily, go to photobucket.com. They walk you through the process. Very easy.
