Good Afternoon All,
I recently purchased a 1985 2001 Ski Nautique. She is in desperate need of interior and exterior rebuilding but mechanically, she is perfect. Hopefully with help from "new correctcraft.com friends" she'll get the attention and cosmetic love it needs this winter. My purpose for this thread is this.....

I hit a submerged object and bent and twisted one blade half the distance from the tip to the hub and the other two have dings and gouges, twisting on these two isn't visible by the naked eye.

I would like to find a used propeller (13 x 13 3 blade, bronze)instead of buying a new one...money is always a factor....with a used propeller to install, that would give me time to have the damaged prop repaired if possible.

This thread is too long, I wanted to post as much information as possible.

Thanks,
Alan Ridd*ck

LOL the auto filter doesn't like the "d*ck" in your name.

Welcome to the forums Alan. Post some pics of your boat and engine. Most of us have been in the same "boat" needing a lot of work so don't be shy.

Using the coupon DP5CCF08 at DeltaProp you can get 20% off a new prop.

Thanks for the reply Jeff. I paid 2500 for my nautique sight unseen and it started on the first try....I definitely didn't go wrong. I did find a reputable prop shop that quoted me 150 bucks to repair my prop. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ill post some pics soon

Can't help you with a prop, but your deal sounds like mine. I paid $2000 for mine and it needed a lot of cosmetic work. I used it 2 summers ago with only 7 cylinders and started tearing into it in October 2011. I unfortunately didn't have time again until about 6 weeks ago so mine still isn't ready yet.
Look at the link in my signature to see what you could possibly be in for.

150 is more than that prop is worth after the repair.

I found a used original prop in the Midwest for 100 bucks, by the time I pay shipping....well do the math. My plan is to haul my little ones on the tube this summer and use the upcoming winter to replace the interior and shoot a sick paint job on her. Ill definitely post pics and tons of questions, This forum is awesome, Ive rarely seen so many helpful enthusiast all in one place. Thanks again Guys

Alan
