In need of a new trailer asap. Would greatly prefer a tandum aluminum, but will consider a single axle steelie if its in very good shape(no rust). Anywhere up and down the East coast is fine.

Give Boat Mate a call in Tennessee ( Near Knoxville). Reid and Matt at Race City Marine are a dealer for Boat Mate. They can build you a great looking NEW trailer at a great price. It will match that NEW interior.

In hind-site, I wish I had just purchased a new one from Boat Mate for my boat instead of rebuilding my trailer. I put a lot of money into my trailer and I would of been better off getting a new one.

Ditto - TOTALLY Rebuilt a 91 trailer:
Spent A LOT
Looks Great
It's still a 91 trailer...............

Also From Donald in another Post:

"Check out Boat Trader.com and look for Used Nautiques. There is a boat dealer near Huntsville Alabama........ They have several types and sizes available and they are prestige trailers. I believe the company is Rambo Marine. Some are tandem and some are not.

I hope this helps,

Donald"

Apparently, my brotha Donald is the trailer expert; follow his advice!!!!

Just have a PHD in the school of hard knocks. Reid had Boat Mate build two trailers for his two mustangs ( Orange, Royal Blue) that came out great for just a little more than I have in my trailer. Randy in Ohio have Boat Mate build him a new Trailer several years ago and he was very pleased. It is even Bear Proof.

Live and learn,

Donald

Im gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you Donald... as nice as Reid's Boatmates are, an original restored trailer is impossible to beat, IMHO.

at this point I'll take either. Had a fender sag, support bracket rusted through, and took out the port side tire... so $95 later I've about had it with this damn thing. There's just no saving a salt water trailer.
