what speed do most people wakeboard. I am an old slalom skier and just bought a 1982 nautique in the winter, boy what a great riding boat in smooth water, but it don't like the rough stuff. I am thinking about trying my hand at wakeboarding and know nothing about it. Any info is appreciated.
Thanks, Todd

well you picked up a great wake boat [with weight]. um i personally ride about 23. but generally some where between 19 and 25. a no stretch line is a plus. both hands on top of the handle. good luck let us know how it goes.

speed depends on rope length and weight. a 65' line and a 1000lbs is about 21 mph in my 88 sn

I'm kinda partial to 18 to 22 mph. Here's my wake at about 18mph.
