Can anyone tell me if this engine will bolt up with my transmission out of my 1983 RH rotation ski nautique?

The engine is a 351 RH rotation out of a 98 sport nautique. Engine model below:

I thought Correct Craft stopped using r/h rotation engines in 1989. The power plus trans reverses the rotation.

what I found a 98 sport nautique that is damaged but the engine/trans is there. I need a engine for my 83' Nautique but I have a transmission. I might be able to buy the whole package if it will work, but I would rather keep my trans. I am just wondering if the engine will work with what I got? This rotation stuff gets me a bit confused

Do a search through the manuals availible on line. I can't remember from memory which one it is but they have the breakdown of the part #'s towards the start. I think that the L towards the start indicats that it is L/H rot

In 89 they switched to a left had rotation engine with the 1.23/1 trans. The 1.23/1 trans switches the rotation so that the prop is still right hand rotation

Maybe I've got the wrong forum, but wasn't a guy just advertising a complete engine and tranny on CCFAN? something"Wood" was his name.

this guy is out of TX. He wants to sell the whole boat with parts. It is a 98 Sport Naut. It looks like a tree feel over the side of the boat. The engine looks clean. He wants 2,500 buy it now for the boat/engine/tranny and all the accessories. I am gonna pass on it, but it is a good deal. It is on ebay right now if you guys are interested. All I really need is a block and heads so I am just gonna order a rebuilt 351.
