Does anyone know anything about the Cut Out Relay that is on the back of a Chrysler? I am wiring up a Ford where a Chrysler used to be and I have 2 wires that came out of the wiring harness and went into this relay. One is yellow and is connected to where it said ignition. I'm guessing it is the switched wire from the ignition that I connect to my resistor? The other is a heavy black wire that connected to where it said battery. It may go to the alternator? I'd post a picture, but the new server requires some sort of photo account? I'm trying to figure out if I can bypass this thing where the Fords don't have one.

Bruce, Since you are installing the Ford in place of the Chrysler , Follow the Old PCM wiring diagram in the ref section.

Pete, I'm trying to adapt this wiring harness to the Ford. I haven't tested it yet, but everything matches up except for these 2 wires. I can test the ignition wire easy enough, but if someone knew what the purpose of that resister was, it would be easier.
As for swapping the engine out, we're replacing a stock Barracuda engine with an optional Barracuda engine of the same vintage so we're keeping it original.
