What is this thing under the dash? It's on a 1989 SN 2001 with a 351w.

1. What does it do?
2. What are the adjustments for?

That is an Alarm Module which only marginally worked even when new. Feel free to disconnect it if you get tired of the alarm going off randomly.

also for the idiot lights. The wires started falling out of the connector on my CC last year. Unplugged it, the beeper didn't work and the lights didn't work anymore :/
