Can anyone please advise me on the transmission oil filter kit part number RP077014. What does the kit consisit of and where is this located?
Another thing, does the transmission oil cooler (part number R147014) need to be replaced at certain intervals. I use my boat in salt water and will need to replace the exhaust risers and header soon dur to rust so I was wondering if any other parts need to be replaced as well.
Boat has 250 hours on the clock.
Thanks.

Tom, The trans oil filter kit is nothing more than a suction side strainer (screen). It's not a filter. The next time you do a trans fluid change, pull it and clean it.
The copper trans heat exchanger is pretty corrosion resistant. Keep an eye on the trans fluid to see if there is any water in it before you go replacing it.
