Hi all.
I need a couple things for my new project.
I have the 351 but have an auto carb and horrible duraspark ignition.
I want to go back to a marine points dizzy that if needed I can upgrade with a kit. I also need a marine carb for that same engine. So far my best new price is 260 bucks.....

Thanks. Hollywood is sending me a dizzy....so I may be scratching that off my list.
Can an auto carb be safely modified for marine use? I can get a marine carb for 260 bucks, but ouch....that's a lot.
The carb I have a price on is the cm 702 from autolite. Anyone here use that? The Holly 4160 is hundreds more....
Thanks
Corey.

All of the 351s in these boats are Windsors, not Clevelands.

I would stick with a marine carb if I were you. A seasoned veteran could get by but they'd probably keep a closer eye and have the knowledge on what exactly to be checking up on.
