I pulled a sad looking (dryer vent style flex tube) off the engine cover vent on the driver side blower located just bellow the exhaust manifold. Does it connect anywhere other than the bower fan or just sit under the engine?

Anyone have a pic handy of theirs?

Thanks in advance.

It just sits under the manifold attached to the engine cradle with a flat head screw.

On another note were you up E. Brady Saturday? Saw one like yours putting in on Saturday

Which side of the blower are you asking about? Forward of the blower (up towards the bow) the front end of the tube sits down near the front of the engine down low and sucks up all the bad fumes. It is attached via a single screw to the engine cradle (as correctly mentioned above).

The aft side of the blower hose goes from the blower further aft to a plastic elbow that directs the air flow down a tube to the back of your boat.

Kevin I assumed he meant the front since it doesn't connect to anything it could make you think there was something missing.

Hummm... there was only a tube connected to the aft facing side of blower... nothing to the front facing side. Sounds like the front hose was removed at some point then and the rear section popped off the tube connecting to back vent under the black plate on the transom. Where is the tube located? Is it the white pvc pipe coming from under the floorboard pointing at the engine about a foot behind the blower (starboard side)?

Gun Driver... that wasn't us... we were at Deep Creek last weekend... I'll bet you had better water than us ;/

This winterizing picture is the best I have of the blower hose.
Like we said above the rear goes to the port under the floor and the front just attaches to the engine cradle up front.

No doubt about the water even as busy as Saturday was we still got good water to get the 2 year old out on the ski trainer.
It’s a shame what happened to DCL ever since they finished 68 out to the east that lake has been ruined for skiing (unless you want to ski at the crack of dawn). I’ve never seen so many 100K wake boats pulling tubes.

I think skidim carries black, or you could try West Marine on McKnight.

Funny, I say the same thing everytime I'm there (DCL). I just don't understand why you need a G23 if you are going to just stand back there on a board or something. Please empty the ballasts... and point those speakers down into your cabin. It rained Sunday morning...

I tried to get my 3yr old up but I think my little HO trainers are still to big for her. She was hoping to break the family record for youngest skier. My 6 yr currently holds record at 4... she slalomed off boom and almost got up behind boat... 5 yr old is skiing but asks me to buy him a wakeboard every 10 mins. Is this how it starts? Is he going to mount a rack on my boat while at work one day

You have to break him of that nasty habit(wake board)early!!!
My 6yr old doesn't like the wake boats/tubes because they make the water to rough for her to ski.

I've been going to DCL for about 20 years boy has it changed. Seems like it wasn't that long ago that you could ski almost all day during the week and into the afternoon on weekends but now the tubers are out by 0800
