Good morining, 96' Ski, 351w standard that is carbed. I have a strange clicking noise coming from the RWP. When I fire up the engine and at idle it is a slow clicking and as I rev up the RPM's the clicking increases. I'm assuming this a bearing of some sort that is going bad and is going to fail any time. Looking for a little insight on this and what I need to do to repair it. Thanks

Mark

Take it apart - maybe you will be lucky & it is just the impeller failing.

Well, heres the update. Took apart the RWP and found nothing. When I spin the pump by hand when apart, I can here the ticking. Its just magnified when assembled. It spins freely, but you can tell there something a little off with a bearing or something. I replaced the impeller while apart and will run it till winter layup and then tear into it. Just need to be extra cautious with the temp gauge and listen for a bang or whatever when the bearing does let go. Good thing is we are on a private strip mine, so it wont be like were stranded in the middle of know where if that were to happen. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks
