I recently (Feb 2006) purchased a 79 Ski Nautique. While admiring the boat, I noticed the perpendicular bolt for both engine mounts is bent forward driverside greater than passenger side. They look to be approx 3/8 out of true. The mount bracket sits level on the stringer and seems solid. Any one else seen this?

I had the same issue with my 88 Ski Centurion. I'm not sure, but I believe Indmar and PCM use the same type motor mounts. One of mine was completely broken in two. There's been an upgrade to this motor mount that uses a beefier bolt. I replaced both front mounts with the new design and have had no trouble since. Bought them from Marine Supermart in Orange Park, Florida. Link is: http://www.marinesupermart.com/. Best of luck!
