Would love to have one, but can't find one to fit my '95 SNOB. Any ideas?

Are you referring to the motor box that came on the 96-98 or 99-2009 direct drives? Even if you were to find one, neither box will fit over your '95 engine unless you eliminate the muffler or switch to a style like the hull hugger.

My motor cover needs new upholstery anyway. Would it be easier to fabricate cupholders and mount them to the motor cover and then get that upholstered? I would have to mount them high enough off the deck to prevent interference when it's open.

Unless you are willing to change muffler styles and can find a slightly newer motorbox with the built in cupholders, I would not undertake this project. I have never seen owner-installed cupholders in a motorbox look good, and its very hard to undo. I would add them elsewhere, preferably somewhere not permanent. Do you not have cupholders in the rear right now?

Cup holders in a motor box are pretty warm, no place to put a cold beverage. We never use ours.

You are right on all accounts and no, I do not have any in the rear which is why I was asking. I can add some in the rear, just wanted to minimize the number of holes being cut and I didn't want it to look like an amateur did it. Based on what you have told me and the comments by Riley, I will probably just cut holes and install some nice ones. Thanks again.
