Thanks

The only new rudder available would be from a dealer (ie. me). I ship globally but they aren't cheap. They all have the tunable fin now.

The only other option would be to wait until a used piece comes on the market.

He needs an 11A with a 1-1/4" shaft for his 2001 (the 27A has a 1" shaft)... or a new tabbed rudder, which would encroach on the $600 mark. The 27A's are relative bargains, as theyre available for ~$280 new... too bad it wouldnt work for him.

Tim, I am thinking about having a pour done of the original 11A. If I could get them down 300 bucks less or so I think they would probably sell like wild fire VS. the new tabbed rudder.

I assume I would have to make a somewhat sizeable investment to do so. Haven't researched the company yet. I think Bruce told me they still have the casting stats to pour it.

Davy,
What's up with your old one? If bent they can be straightened if not real bad.

Pete, what are the limitations of a rudder repair? Bent shaft vs. bent blade, shearing/cracking repairable? I've got a few that are tweaked. Wouldn't trust anyone around here to know what they're doing... and don't want to ship them out if they can't be fixed. Any insight or would you have to see them in person?
