I'm looking for thr front bowl to a 4160 that has the screw to adjust the float. Emil me from the site if you have an old one laying around. This is fro a 4 barrel 4160 that goes on a PCM 351
Thanks,

Matt

I don't think 4160 bowls from a marine carb have the float adjustment on the outside.   If you desire that feature, there was an aftermarket carb mentioned on a couple other threads recently that has that benefit.   You might be up for a whole new carb if you are unable to make the adjustment internally.

Yep, that's the one. the adjustable seat can be seen in the picture on the top of each bowl.

You can go buy a Holley float bowl that has the external float adjustment and put it on. They aren't marine specific. Should be able to get one from about any speed shop. Holley just never opted to put them on a stock marine carb.

When people run down to the lake to see what's making that noise, you've succeeded.

The external adjustments were on the marine carbs until about 1976; that's when the USCG outlawed the sale of them on marine applications.
